How to Use the Online Store

Before you begin the purchasing process, visit republicwireless.com/tools to find out more about how Republic can work for you.

Phone number

 

  • If you're ordering for the first time from Republic
    You will be assigned a new number based on your billing zip code. You'll be able to see what your phone number is in the My Account portal once your phone has been shipped. You can purchase up to four phones/service lines per order (with a maximum of 6 services lines allowed per account.)

 

  • If you're transferring your number from your current provider
    You can request to do that after you've received your phone. See Transfer My Number to Republic for instructions and info.

 

  • If you're upgrading or replacing your existing phone
    Your phone number will automatically transfer to your new phone upon activation when you first turn on your new phone. Members with existing accounts can add up to four phones/service lines per order (with a maximum of 6 services lines allowed per account). Please make sure to use the email address associated with your current Republic account when ordering additional lines.

New member

 

Please follow these instructions if you are currently not a Republic Wireless member.

Go to republicwireless.com.

 

At the top right of the screen, click Phones.

On the Phones page, click a phone image or click More Information next to the phone you'd like to buy.

Choose phone color and storage capacity (if applicable), then click Add to Cart.

Once you've added your phone into your cart, a window will drop down from the shopping cart icon.

 

Select a phone plan:

Under Add a New Line of Service, select a monthly plan, or click the information button to be taken to the Plans page.

 

Add accessories:

If you'd like to purchase any accessories, click the Shop Accessories link at the top of the cart popup, or scroll down and click the Shop Accessories banner to be taken to the Accessories page.

Review your order info, then click Checkout at the bottom of the cart window.

Under New Customers, fill out the First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone fields.

Fill out the Billing Address fields with a valid continental U.S. billing address.

Shipping Address:

  • To ship to the same address as your billing address, make sure the box Use billing address for shipping is checked.

  • To ship to a different address, uncheck the Use billing address for shipping and fill out the fields with a valid shipping address.

 

You can verify your shipping address on the USPS address checker. We are unable to ship to addresses that are not valid continental U.S. addresses and/or do not validate.

Fill out the Payment Info fields with the cardholder name, credit card number, expiration month and year, and CVC (security code).

 

Note: Enter your credit card number without spaces or dashes. (If your credit card fails or is denied, your order will be automatically cancelled and you'll need to place a new order.)

 

If you have a coupon code, check the box to enter the code in the provided field, then click Apply. See Special Offers and Promotions for more info.

Review the Terms and Conditions:

  1. Click the links to open and review each set of terms.
  2. When you're finished, check the box next to each set of terms.

Scroll to the top of the screen and verify that all of your order information is correct.

 

  • Click Edit Cart to change your phone model, color, capacity, or plan, or to add accessories.
  • Click Show Tax Details to see a detailed breakdown of federal and state taxes for your order.

 

Once your order information is correct, scroll down to the bottom of the page to make sure you've filled out all of the fields needed for your order, including the correct email address.

 

If everything is correct, click Place My Order.

Existing account

 

Please follow these instructions if you are currently a Republic Wireless member and would like to add another line to your account or upgrade an existing line to another device.

 

 

Add a line

 

Please follow these instructions if you're adding an additional service line to your existing Republic account.

Keep in mind:

  • You may add up to four additional lines to your account.
  • Don't forget to use the same email address that's associated with your existing account.
  • On the day you order, you'll be charged the cost of the additional phone and shipping costs (plus taxes). When your phone ships, you'll be charged the recurring monthly plan charge (plus taxes and surcharges) per smartphone. (This cost will be added to your next scheduled bill date, and will include a prorated amount to cover the time between when your phone is shipped and your scheduled bill date.)
  • The Money Back Guarantee applies to additional phone lines added to your account.

If you're not signed into your Republic Wireless account, click Please Log In under Returning Customers and sign in.

Once you're logged in, you'll see Welcome Back, with your billing address and payment info auto-populated from your account info.

 

To edit your billing address, click the Edit button and fill out the Billing Address fields with a valid continental U.S. billing address.

Upgrade or replace an existing service line

Replace an existing service line:

 

  • If you're not logged into your Republic Wireless account: Click Replace Existing Republic Phone and log in.

 

  • Once you're logged into your Republic Wireless account:
    1. Choose the service line you'd line to move to the device you're purchasing.
    2. Select a monthly plan, or click the information button to be taken to the Plans page.

 

 

Add accessories:

If you'd like to purchase any accessories, click the Shop Accessories link at the top of the cart popup, or scroll down and click the Shop Accessories banner to be taken to the Accessories page.

Troubleshooting

 

Initial fix: steps to try

 

  • Check the status of the Republic online store and other services.
    If you're experiencing issues completing your purchase, our online store or other services may be undergoing maintenance or an outage. Visit our status page to learn more.


  • Use your browser's privacy mode.
    Using privacy mode (or "incognito mode") opens a browser window that ignores your apps, cached data, and cookies. Try using your browser in privacy mode if you're experiencing loading or other browser issues.

    Note: Our online store is not compatible with Safari's Private Browsing mode.

  • Check your shipping address
