Whenever a handover from wifi to cell occurs, a call on speakerphone or Bluetooth reverts to handset at the time of handover.
Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
I would suggest that you open a ticket for this specific problem Republic Help - Submit a Request
The Hand off problem seems to be growing a few extra legs that they need to be aware of and address as they tune the problem.
Just an update: This problem only occurs when the handover is automatic. It does not happen when you press the handover button during a call that is on wifi.
Prior to that clarification, customer support says they were unable to recreate the issue. I bet knowing this, now they will.
Anyone else care to try to see if their speakerphone does the same?
This is still an issue for me. I am going to wait for the Motorola update to the OS, see if that fixes it, and then revisit the trouble ticket if needed.
Was your ticket with Republic updated with the Dec 13, 2013 1:28 PM and Feb 14, 2014 4:02 PM information above?
This may be new info for them
Not with the Feb 14 info, but it was updated with the earlier post.
Next step is to try a factory reset...
